Counseling is a relationship process to help each individual and family heal through change. This involves more than just talking about problems or getting advice. Counseling is an effective way to help you adjust, heal and grow. Healing takes place as you talk about what is important to you with someone you can trust, who can help you plan and take steps toward adjusting. You will find it rewarding to meet with someone who is accepting, compassionate and determined to understand you. Unlike other relationships, your counselor is jointly focused on your needs, problems, and best interests.

Dustin joined the Family Counseling Center in the spring of 2025 as both a counseling intern and the business manager. He graduated in August 2025 from Liberty University with a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling.
A Marine Corps veteran, Dustin served as an Administrative Chief, where he developed leadership, discipline, and a strong commitment to serving others. Drawing from his military background and theological training, Dustin brings a unique perspective to counseling that combines structure with compassion.
He specializes in working with teenage to young adult males, helping them navigate the challenges of identity, responsibility, and personal growth. Dustin’s passion is to guide young men toward resilience, confidence, and hope through a Christ-centered, solution-focused, and supportive counseling approach.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Dustin believes this truth reminds us that no one is perfect and that we all need help from time to time. If you are feeling lost, doubtful, or hurting, he desires to provide a safe place for you to find healing and direction.
