Ensuring Growth, Needs, and Lasting Support of
the Family Counseling Center

What is V4F Foundation?

From the Desk Of David Pate

The Family Counseling Center continues to celebrate 25 years of positively changing lives. Over 11,000 people have been impacted through individual, marriage or family counseling in just the last ten years alone!

Ron Fuller, the FCC's Board Chair, had the desire to ensure that the FCC always had the funding needed. To accomplish this, he and others who care about the FCC established the Victory4Families Foundation, a 501(c)3 Non-profit organization. This foundation was formed under the Tennessee Non-Profit Corporation Act (Tenn. Code Ann. 48-51-101.) The V4F Foundation was established to ensure stable funding for the FCC and it's programs, especially the challenges to meet high dollar FCC needs, such as capital improvements and helping staff with continued education and to pursue higher degrees through Continual Educational Scholarships, which without the foundation would burden the operating budget of the FCC. The operating budget comes from counseling fees paid and donations to help people who either cannot afford to pay, or pay a lower fee determined by the sliding scale based on the person's needs. The foundation therefore assists FCC in keeping counseling fees affordable.

Will you partner with the Victory4Families Foundation to ensure this dream?

Thank you for helping us bless hurting people.

Current Fundraising Projects

Remodel Project

To remodel a portion inside the FCC building to add two more counseling offices and a storage closet. The contractor's estimated cost is $5,000.00 per office. (The storage closet cost is included.) The whole remodel project estimate is $10,000.00.

Paint Project

Painting the whole interior of the FCC office. The estimate for this project is $12,000.00.

Client Scholarship Fund

The FCC's Client Scholarship Fund: The FCC does not turn people away due to lack of ability to pay. Clients are offered a sliding scale so the amount they pay is based on their need. The Client Scholarship fund provides the resources to subsidize the sliding scale thereby assisting those who cannot pay the full amount. For the 2025 year, an estimated $30,000.00 is needed.

Endowment Fund

Finances placed in the foundation, unless otherwise designated, will be used as an endowment fund so the V4F Foundation will be able to continually grow the principal in order that at a future point, all disbursements to the FCC will be mostly derived from interest from investments thus ensuring continual support for various operations and capital projects for the FCC and its programs for years to come.

Other Ways You Can Help

Stock and portfolio values

You can turn capital gains in securities, resulting from appreciation in value or a sale, into treasure for touching lives. At the same time, you may be able to mitigate or eliminate taxes on such gains while seeing the gain alone or the total market value translated into a positive impact on families and individuals in your local communities.

Life Insurance

This is an uncomplicated method you can utilize to give a sizable gift of great significance for low costs, relative to the size of the gift, and enjoy current tax benefits during your lifetime. You may be surprised how simply and easily this can be accomplished. There can be a benefit to your heirs using these legacy tools in conjunction with a Charitable Remainder Uni-Trust. If you would like to know more about these strategies, we can have the foundation's financial adviser contact you to explain fully the implications for you, your heirs, and your legacy gift.

Monthly/Yearly Donation

We are glad to help you explore integrating your current financial planning and charitable giving efforts along with some of the strategies mentioned here and others that have been put to use by charitably motivated supporters. Our planned giving advisers, who serve Victory 4 Families Foundation, can consult with you directly or with your advisers upon request.

Real Estate

Real Estate can be a huge gift to any charity. Whether the asset is gifted and used by the charity or sold, after the grantor has taken significant tax deductions, and the appreciated value is put to work for the benefit of the people and communities served, this may be one of the most flexible planned giving methods. Real Estate gifts with life estates attached, held in trusts, or given outright can greatly benefit the foundation's work in serving others while giving you numerous planning options. Gifted real estate such as personal residences, vacation homes, rental properties, farmland, and/or commercially developed land can bring together your desire to have a legacy of charitable giving in your lifetime while minimizing or avoiding various types of taxes and lifting a burden off of your heirs shoulders. Most family heirs find dealing with inherited real estate to be the greatest problem of the many that accompany settling a family member's estate.
